All our wineries obtain scores above 90 points

The British MW Tim Atkin published his Rioja Report 2024 with extraordinary scores for the wines elaborated by the Araex Grands wineries. All the group's wineries obtain extraordinary results, surpassing the 90-point barrier, and demonstrating the oenological excellence and commitment to the personality of Rioja Alavesa wines.

Both Luis Cañas and Amaren placed in Tim Atkin's Second Growth, with extraordinary scores. In the case of Luis Cañas, the 97 points obtained by Finca Ribagaitas 2021 stand out, considered one of the greatest Red Wines of the year by Tim Atkin. Hiru 3 2021, Prodenero 2020 and Poyotos 2021 obtained 94 points, while Camino Leza 2021, Luis Cañas Gran Reserva 2017, Finca El Palacio 2020 reached 93 points.

5 Amaren wines obtained 94 points (Amaren Graciano 2019, Amaren Malvasia 2019, Amaren Blanco 2021, Amaren Carraquintana 2020 and El Regollar 2020). Amaren Garnacha 2020, El Cristo de Samaniego 2020 and Viña Chelus 2020 obtained 93 points in the report.

Altos R de Rioja obtained 93 points with Altos R Pigeage Graciano 2021, Altos R Crianza 2020 and Altos R Pigeage 2021 obtained 92 points. Lar de Paula wines also stood out, with 94 points obtained by Lar de Paula Blanco Reserva Limited Edition 2016. Manuel Quintano Blanco 2022 and Los Herreros 2022 obtained 92 points, while in the Rolland & Galarreta range, Esencia 2018 reached 92 points and R&G Rioja 2018 reached 91 points.
