The wineries of the Grupo Vinícola Marqués de Vargas have joined SPANISH FINE WINES, part of the Araex Grands SFW group, to continue promoting the international development of their brands. Thus, Pazo San Mauro (DO Rías Baixas), Conde San Cristóbal (DO Ribera del Duero), and Marqués de Vargas (DOC Rioja) join the firm founded by Javier R de Galarreta in 1993, completing the portfolio of the leading group of independent wineries.

The alliance between the two companies aims to continue increasing the value of Spanish wine beyond our borders, with the incorporation of these three leading wineries in their sector, which have been part of the Spanish wine elite for decades. This agreement will allow Araex Grands Spanish Fine Wines to complete its wine portfolio and expand to 17 the number of wineries that are part of its offer.

The inclusion of Pazo San Mauro, Conde San Cristóbal, and Marqués de Vargas in the brand architecture of Araex Grands Spanish Fine Wines will bolster the growth of these brands abroad, where the company founded by Javier R de Galarreta has been operating since its inception, bringing its wines to more than 70 countries, and surpassing 500 million in accumulated revenue.

The union of both companies will allow Pazo San Mauro, Conde San Cristóbal, and Marqués de Vargas to have a greater and more relevant presence in the international market, combining current importers with the excellent network of distributors and partners of Araex Grands Spanish Fine Wines worldwide.
