largest area of vineyard in the world, a wide and bright plain, a region with exceptional qualities for growing grapes. This is La Mancha, the great wine growing area in the southern plateau, in the heart of Spain.
the province of Toledo, the best part of La Mancha for growing grapes, lies the town of Noblejas, of a long winemaking tradition. Its surrounding fields, of poor soils and continental climate, are covered with a blanket of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Macabeo vines, along with foreign varieties and all perfectly adapted.
Our La Mancha winemaking facility,
Bodegas Muñoz, was founded in a great house of Noblejas´ historical centre in the 1940´s. Today, it is one of the leading winegrowers in the area. It makes wines with Appellation La Mancha and also under the Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla status.
