Historical denomination of origin
The Navarra Denomination of Origin, one of the oldest in Spain, is a mosaic of diversity, with very different sub-areas in terms of geography and environment. One of them, the southernmost, is the Ribera, around the city of Tudela. Here the climate is Mediterranean inland, marked by low rainfall and extremely hot summers.

The changing and capricious climate bathes the landscapes and the typology of the crops. Of irregular shapes with mountainous areas and areas of fertile land with slopes of vineyards, this diversity converges with the climatology, combining the 3 main types of climate of the Peninsula.
