The aim
of Pago de Cirsus is to make 100 percent single-estate wines of the very highest quality. The 136 hectares of southerly vineyards are planted with Moscatel de Alejandría, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo, Merlot and Syrah. Standing in their midst is a magnificent fortified tower typical of The Kingdom of Navarre and a state-of-the-art winery that produces some of the most highly awarded wines in Spain and is set to receive Vino de Pago Appellation status.

Its founder
chose the site just outside the village of Ablitas in Navarra for it´s unique terroir, sloping topography and ochre-coloured clay soils found over most of the estate. Combined with its continental climate, the conditions are regarded as optimum for growing vines. Further enhancing the quality, the average yield per hectare is intentionally reduced far below the appellation´s limit to grow concentrated wines with deep colour, excellent fruit, and powerful structure.
